About us

The company consists of four driven, enthusiastic, and hard-working young professionals who love to show the behind the scenes of producing a movie.  Jarno Linnenbank, Valeria Ciobanu, Larissa Binz and Greta Egervari are the F.R.I.E.N.D.S of the cinema world who share same passions and love for movies. They are the founders of Breda Film Festival, and they are currently following the study Events for Business at Breda University of Applied Sciences.  

The Breda Film Festival has 45 employees, and each of them are working in one of the four departments the company has. Find an overview of all our board members and staff:

A big part of our team are the volunteers, that are involved during the production of the event. During the festival, 16 volunteers are present and help the team to arrange everything.  

Mission, vision and values

Breda Film Festival is a company which organizes different types of annual events connected to movies and productions. We as a team represent our values in the art, creativity, and joy of our work. We love bringing people together at our events and listening to their experiences and emotions while filming a scene from a movie, how it is to work with different writers and producers. We are trying to bring to people’s attention worth watching movies and open discussions around it. The best way to do it is organizing annual film festivals. We think we achieved that because Breda Film Festival is at its second edition this year. The event represents what we as a team dream of.  It brings our values together and helps us to keep growing as professional.  

The target market is the cinema world of actors, and anyone involved in creating a film or production and want to promote their work. Besides the actors, we are interested to attracts as visitors people from all around the world interested in movies and the backstage of the process. 

Story of the Company 

It all started as a passion for movies nights with friends, where everyone would join and share their opinions of a specific movie. We could have popcorn together and enjoy the best Fridays we could ever organize. With time it became more than passion: we decided to study this sector more in-depth. Based on our experience we decided to create a company that could bring joy to people and promote one of the best movies of the decade.  

 

 

Location  

The office of Breda Film Festival is located in the city center of Breda. From this central location we are able to connect with our suppliers and customers.  

 

Accomplishments  

Breda Film Festival has organized other movie events in the past. Think about the Dutch Movie Festival in 2020 and the Imagine Film Festival in Amsterdam.
